Research Assistent | PhD Student (30h/week)
in the "Josef Ressel Center for the Security Analysis of IoT Devices," whose goal it is to systematically, reliably, and ideally fully automate the evaluation of the security of a wide variety of different IoT devices over the next 5 years.
Your duties
- Involvement in an applied research project at the interface of Internet-of-Things and IT security
- Security analysis of different IoT devices
- Identification of common security criteria across many devices
- Automation of security analyses
- Scientific methodology and the writing of scientific publications
Your profile
- Bachelor-, Master- or Diploma in Computer Science or similar field
- Experience in the areas IT security, Internet-of-Things, hardware and software
- Technical knowledge of modern security mechansims or embedded systems advantageous
- Excellent command of German and English
- Given the right qualification, willingness to start a PhD program

- The position is directly linked to the duration of the Josef-Ressel-Center and is set for a maximum of 5 years
