Based in the Department of Art & Performance, in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester School of Theatre (MST) is one of the UK's leading centres for teaching and research in theatre and performance. Our provision alongside the BA (Hons) Acting programme includes BA (Hons) Drama and Contemporary Performance, MA/MFA Performance and an active Performance research centre with multiple PhD students.
We are looking to recruit to a range of posts at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level in BA (Hons) Acting, a University-based Federation of Drama Schools accredited programme with a long history in nurturing talent development through our intensive actor training delivery model. Our work ranges from stage- and screen-focused actor training to devised performance and practice as research, and we have strong links with the Manchester-area cultural community and theatre groups around the world.
About the role:
We are looking for various Lecturer and Senior Lecturer posts to support the BA (Hons) Acting programme from January 2024 onwards. This teaching would take place at our central Manchester campus. There are multiple fractional and full-time posts available.
